Weekend happenings at the barnyard

For a couple of weeks now Jaylee has been anxiously awaiting her overnight at my aunt and uncles house. My aunt had wanted her and my niece laynee to come for the night as my cousin Mandy was bringing her niece too! So Saturday jay and laynee went off to the barnyard for the rest of the weekend! They had so much fun had a pizza party ,helped do chores, and played with the animals. Lex is just still a bit little for a overnight at the farm just yet so mom and dad kept her for the evening while Jeramey and I went out to eat and did little shopping. So then yesterday the whole family were invited to the barnyard for lunch and a hayride back to the woods. It was absolutely beautiful! So here are some pictures of the overnight, our hayride And other Fun, well mostly fun I will get to that incident in a minute:)

and we got stuck, we told the girls we would have to walk all the way back, they didn't like that idea too much, good thing uncle steve and jeramey got us out!

 This was right before the incident, Mirage was being a good girl until she heard the colt in the barnyard and whipped around so fast the saddle slipped to the side and she took off running so i was riding off the side of her until i finally bailed off the side basically doing a barrel roll onto the ground! Fortunately i had gotten my foot out of the stirrup or I would have been stuck and forced to go along for the ride! it wasn't funny at the time but as soon as i was off it was hard not to laugh! 

So that was our fun at the farm! Thank you so much aunt Jan and uncle Steve! Even though I am pretty  sore today:)

P.s. family pictures were taken this weekend look for those tomorrow! Along with some other updates through out the week, Ive got a kitchen and entry makeover along with a recipe to share:) and i still have to get the driveway pictures up!
