A better week?

Sorry for our absence lately, we've been busy and sick:( last Sunday night lex woke up in the middle of the night throwing up, not how we wanted to start off our week. Jeramey was scheduled to be in Cleveland for his treatment so I was glad to get him out of the house and away from here and all the germs. So lex was down pretty much all day so when Jeramey got home I packed him and jaylee up and they went to his moms. So they stayed there 2 nights while I tended to lex all while feeling like was coming down with it too. Which I did at the end of the week. Thankfully Jeramey and jaylee haven't been hit with it yet and hopefully they won't. I have lysoled and cleaned like crazy to get all the germs far from this house!

So back to Jeramey he completed his 14th round last week, he felt a little crappy Tuesday and Wednesday but other than those 2 days he has felt great! So we are on schedule and will go back for treatment 15 next week! And this week is his birthday week as he calls it, he thinks he gets a whole week for some reason! So we will be having some birthday celebrations this week, we also have reservations with some friends at a japenese steak house Saturday night so we are really looking forward to that!

Jaylee started back in karate on Tuesday after the Christmas break, so she's excited about that! We have story hour sign up this morning and that will start back up again here in a couple of weeks, so our break is over and back to the busy routine we will go:)

I have been super bad with not taking pictures lately so hopefully I get back in gear and next post I will have some:) have a wonderful week!!

Let the madness begin

We had a pretty great weekend nothing planned but what we wanted to do, but that will now change from now on we have no free weekends but that's okay just means lots of family time and lots of Christmas activities:) Friday my mom and sister went shopping so we got to spend the day with our little laynee, I love my sister being close so that our kids can grow up together!

So Friday night we stayed in had a taco night and watched movies, a nice relaxing night in.
Saturday I had my first matron of honor duty and went wedding dress shopping with my sister, although it was very successful in finding what style she is looking for we didn't find the "one" but she looked gourgeous in them all I don't know how she is going to decide:) after a long afternoon of dresses we met her fiancé, Jeramey and the girls at the movies to watch happy feet 2, it was a really cute movie I think it was even better than the first one. We followed that up with dinner then headed home with 2 tired little girls!

Yesterday Jeramey and his brother were busy working on his brother's car so my mom watched lex and jaylee and I headed out for a little mommy daughter shopping trip, she was such a great little shopper! All the shopping is done except for one more thing for my dad, as he is always my last one every year! He is so hard to shop for! But other than him we are done and its all wrapped except for the gifts Santa is bringing:)So from now on we can just enjoy all the fun things ahead we have planned!

We have a easy week ahead followed by a busy weekend, only karate on Tuesday which jay is so excited about its a test night so we will see if she moves up a belt to the orange! Other than that we have no other things going on this week. This weekend will be full of fun, Saturday we have tickets to Disney on ice, the girls have been looking forward to this for months, I can't wait we have been to a couple of them and the girls love them. And if all goes to plan lights at the zoo after the show and dinner so defiantly a fun Saturday in the works:) then Sunday we have a Christmas with my dads side so we will be busy busy busy!

Yes that's my husband snow blowing from Fridays snow. If you can call it a snow more like a dusting, what can I say he's a freak and loves to snow blow the driveway!

Tree's

Two Sundays ago the tree's and holiday decor went up, a little behind with the pictures I guess:) We've been busy, busy with the girls schedule and our own along with getting around for thanksgiving and black Friday of course! Yes I am one of the crazy ones, and I love it my sister and I have gone for years, its a tradition. We have so much fun, my mom is joining us for the second time this year so I'm looking forward to a fun and crazy night with my momma and sister! Jeramey is back to himself after his last treatment, working again and feeling great! We have so much to be thankful for this year that's for sure! Thankful for the blessing of the doctors we have and all the progress we have made. Monday we have a CT scan and appointment with the doctor to see where we are and what the plan is next. So prayers so a great report if you would:) So here are the pictures of the decorating of the tree's!

I needed a wreath for the front door and just couldn't find one I liked and the ones I did were so expensive so I bought a plain 2.00 wreath and made my own, pretty excited about how it turned out, and I have Jeramey to thank again this year for the pheasant feathers for the wreaths and my tree topper:) One perk to a husband that hunts I guess:)

Skipping forward to this past Saturday Jeramey and I took the girls and met my sister her boyfriend and their kids at Chuckie Cheese for the afternoon. The girls had a blast, its by far not my favorite place to be but the girls have fun and it wears them out so it's worth it!

So that's about all I have for now, I will try and get the rest of the house decor on here tomorrow then hopefully the outside too, no promises I haven't been to good with the blog lately!

 

Weekend Fun

A little rain here and there didn't damper our weekend fun that's for sure! And fun we had! Friday Daddy stayed home with the girls and I went out for some much needed sister time with my sister Haley, even if it was only for a couple of hours for dinner it was nice to get out and catch up with her. Saturday was our fun day, we had over some friends and their kiddos for a day of pool fun as you will see from the pictures we had a lot of fun I don't know who had more fun the adults or the kids!

 Snack Time! The kids loved this dip, it was so easy and one I will defiantly make again! 

Here's the recipie if your looking for a quick and easy dip the kids will love!

Funfetti Dip

3 TBSP of funfetti cake mix

2 TBSP plain yogurt

1 TBSP cool whip

Mix cake mix and yogurt until smooth, fold in cool whip. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve with animal crackers

We ended our weekend with another day in the pool, trying to soak in every bit of summer and the girls had try to out their new bathing suits they picked out:)

 Lex was so excited about her's she thought it was like a dress with the skirt and ariel was a plus too!

 I love the suit Jaylee picked she now wants to make a shirt like it so we may have to venture into tie dying sometime soon:)

Well we're off to Cleveland for round 5 on Tuesday morning so say an extra prayer for another good round:)

What a weekend

Weekends never last long enough that's a fact. We had a wonderful one too! So much fun, we went over to a friends house Friday night, had hobo pies over a fire, the kiddo's played and had a blast. After getting the girls to bed for the night I got a night out with some of my best friends which I needed so bad!

Saturday morning we got up packed up and headed to my aunts house for the day. All three of my cousins were home along with their husbands so the boys went golfing and us girls stayed at home. We had a great afternoon visiting the barnyard meeting the new baby colt, who is adorable! After the guys got back we had a delicious dinner followed by ending the night out at the pond fishing, Jaylee was loving it she's quite the little fisherman, she caught one right after the other!

Sunday was father's day and we spent the whole day celebrating. The girls and I took Jeramey and his parents out for breakfast then came back home for a afternoon outside before the monsoon of a rainstorm moved in! After the rain finally let up we had my parents sisters and their boyfriends over for dinner. I think it was a pretty successful fathers day around these parts:)

Jeramey had a bit of a rough morning/afternoon on Friday We are pretty sure it was from a medication change and he has felt a lot better since he has stopped taking them. Other than that he felt pretty good after coming off the chemo a little more tired but nothing major.

We have a pretty uneventful week/weekend around here which will be nice. Looks like t-ball will be canceled tonight and most likely Wednesday too. So it looks to be a rainy start to the week hopefully all the rain's gone by the weekend so we can have some pool time! Since there will probably be no t-ball this week I have a couple pictures to share from last weeks game that are too cute not to share!
