It's been a while

Okay so we play catch up again, I've been so bad at this lately! I will start with where we left off...

Our driveway is all ready for the new concrete, Jeramey and our friends and family have worked so hard despite all the rain that set us back and all the old concrete is out the new sewer and storm is in and now we are just waiting for the concrete guys to come. So our part is done , we were hoping to have everything done but the rain put everyone back about a week so we are crossing our fingers that we will be forming and pouring end of this week or early next week. I CAN'T wait to be done with this mess!

Last week we had our usual busy week of story time, karate, story hour and work. Tuesday Jeramey made his usual trip to Cleveland for treatment number 9 but after his labs came back the doctor wanted to skip this treatment as his platelet counts were low. Which was disappointing for us but the doctor said it will be good to skip this one pushing it back will help all the counts get back up. That way he can sail through these last 4 treatments a lot easier. So this coming Tuesday we will be going for treatment number 9 after that 3 more to go!

So from skipping this treatment I along with everyone else can see how good it did, Jeramey feels great like his old self he has been able to work without getting tired out from the chemo. Which he cant wait to be done with all together, he's way to busy to not be able to go go go:) So we took advantage of the skipped treatment fully. 

Friday Jeramey took Jay and our friends little girl bowling for the afternoon and from what I understand they had a blast and can't wait to go again!

Saturday Daddy and the girls had some time alone while I got to have a girls day with my Momma and Sis

We had lunch, shopped, and just enjoyed our alone time together, that doesn't happen very often! It was a pretty successful trip I got some birthday presents for Lex, the girls halloween costumes and even a couple of Christmas gifts bought! When I got home Jeramey had dropped the girls off to my Dad as he was going to a hunting banquet with some of his friends for the night. So Saturday was good we both got some much needed time for ourselves. 

Now onto this week, we've had beautiful weather and we have been taking full advantage!

 This weather is supposed to stay this way for at least a week so I'm sure we will be out trying to soak it all up while we can!

Tonight is Story hour for Jaylee, then tomorrow we are headed to a Japanese steak house for dinner to celebrate one of my best friends birthday. Jeramey and i have both neither been to one so we are excited about that. Other than that we have no plans so it should be a nice relaxing weekend:)

In some other very exciting news I will be getting a brother!!! My sister Haley is engaged! We are all so excited. The date is set for 12-22-2012 and I can't wait!

Someone was pretty pumped about karate tonight!

 While Daddy & Sis where at their class tonight Lex & I got to hang out with my cute little niece and my sister

 Daddy got his gue tonight, and when they came home Jay had to show off the new moves they learned!

 I had made these water bottles yesterday, Jaylee needed one to take to karate and I had extra so I made a couple more:) I have a few more things I've been working on and i'll try to get those up sometime this week. I've been in a major blog funk lately if you haven't noticed:) Sorry!

Maybe?

Maybe a Spring to do list will help get spring here faster? I'm sure hoping so! I have some serious spring fever, so ready for some warmer weather so we can get out of this house! The plan is to pick a week and tackle this list. I'm sure there will be more added to the list but this is what I have so far

Thankful Thursday

Sorry for the lack of posting lately we have had a crazy busy week with these household projects we have going on. Yesterday Jeramey put 14 inches of blown insulation in our attic, it was defiantly needed for some time now but it was a job a messy job but now our bedroom is so much warmer! So i'm looking forward to those cheaper heat bills now that we have some major insulation:)

The bathroom is also moving right along. After todays last coat of mud we will be ready to prime then paint and hopefully have that done by Sunday so we can tile. After tile all we need to do is install the vanity, cabinet, toilet and we should be all set! I can't wait! Jeramey has worked so hard in there and that is one thing I am so thankful for, for a husband who is so handy and hard working. Pretty  much anything that needs done around here fixing building etc, he does it. So home improvements may take a while longer but they are defiantly a lot cheaper when you don't have to pay for the labor. And I love the fact that we are making this house our home the way we want it on our own, makes it even more special:)

Current State

This is the current state of our bathroom, lovely right? I love that husband of mine that just decides to knock down walls and totally gut a room out. No sarcasm there:) But I do love the fact that after all this mess I will have a beautiful new bathroom, I can't wait! 

Really.Can't. Wait.

On another note, it's Friday and  we have dinner plans with Jeramey's family tonight at one of our favorite restaurants, where I will eat entirely way to much but it's so worth it! We also have a little guest for the weekend, my Mom and I are splitting custody of my niece for the weekend as her Mommy & Daddy are in Chicago:) The girls are so excited for her to stay, Jaylee said they will have a sleepover all weekend! So I'm sure there wont be many dull moments in this household with 3 little girls running around, poor Jeramey out numbered even more! I'm sure he will be glad he has the bathroom to keep him busy;)

Changes

There's been lots of changes to the house here in just a short couple of days, the new garage door that I showed you on Sunday, the Christmas decor and tree's going up , new paint in the living room and entry way and a new look for a stand in the living room that I will show you here in a minute. So hence the delay in the Holiday house tour. That and the fact I haven't made it to the store to get some more lights to finish my garland. But I PROMISE by the end of the week the house will be all put back together and I will get some pictures up of our holiday decor and the new paint until then I will give you a sneak peak of the colors

Fall To-Do List

You all know I have a fall to do list, I wouldn't be my crazy self if I didn't! Like I've said before I LOVE list's, my hubby not so much but hey I like to write down and see for myself everything that we need to accomplish and crossing things off that list is so rewarding! Jeramey says he thinks I just sit around trying to think of things to do just to drive him crazy, really I don' t do that but it is pretty funny every time I hand him a list.  So here is the fall to do list for our household:





*Stain fence- we have already done the inside and the outside of the front we just have the sides and back of the outside to do and we will be done.

*Close the pool :(

*Put away all outside furniture

*Take down the Trampoline as soon as it gets too cold to use it

*Trim the tree's in front & out back

*Cut down the dead tree

*Clean out and organize the attic-seriously it is so bad I don't even know whats up there it's a total disaster!

*Service the furnace

Not too awful bad, those are just the things we have to get done. I have a whole other list for inside winter projects. But that's a whole other post:) We will just stick to one list at a time or the hubby of mine just might go on strike:)

Girl's Bedroom Reveal

So after weeks of hard work we are finally done with the girls room! I can't even begin to explain how happy I am with how it turned out! As if Jeramey hadn't already worked hard enough on their room he even built them bunk beds! I swear my husband can do anything! Our girls are so lucky to have such a awesome Daddy!

So here it is...

Jeramey did such a great job on these, I saw this design in the Land of Nod catalog & loved it but I didn't love the price! $1599.00 crazy pure craziness! So Jeramey made the exact replica of them for under 200.00 for all the wood supplies and even paint! Thank you Daddy for all your hard work:)

We're getting there!

Last night Jeramey put the carpet down in the girls room! I am so excited if you can't tell, i'm so ready to get this room project over with that's for sure! So by the end of this weekend we should have the trim up and the bed and all her other stuff in there. After that is done Jeramey is making the girls bunk beds so as soon as those are done then the room will be totally finished! Which is a good thing because when the weather finally starts to get  warmer we will have plenty to do, we have the fence to finish and stain and the pool to get ready to open, I so can't wait for that day! So here are some pictures of the room the walls are dipped chocolate and the carpet is called warm toast:)
