A little bump in the road

Yesterday Jeramey was to start his 6 th round of chemo, as we are always reminded things don't always go as planned,but as I really need to understand is that it's okay and remember to be grateful for all the blessings we have been given so far, we have had a pretty easy start to these treatments and Jeramey has tolerated them wonderfully! And we are so thankful for that there will be bumps here and there and we will get through them:) so here's the latest.

After a busy weekend Throughout the day on Sunday Jeramey said he started to get a pain under his ribs when he would take a deep breath. So Monday when it was still there I called the Dr. To let them know and see what they thought. Our Dr is out until next week so the Dr. Covering for him took our call. We explained what was going on and that we would be there in the morning for treatment. The Dr. Said he thought it was maybe a pulled muscle or something like that but. Just to be sure he wanted a chest xray before treatment.

So yesterday morning Jeramey and his parents went down to Cleveland for his regular treatment. He had the xray and then his regular blood work, the blood work came back good so as long as the xray was fine he would be good to go for the treatment. The Dr. Reviewed the xray and wanted to skip the treatment and have a ct scan done just to be sure it wasn't a blood clot.

After getting the scan it turned out it was no blood clot, thank god and just inflammation. So he was given a prescription for a week of steroids and that should take care of it.so keeping on the Tuesday Thursday treatment schedule he will go next Tuesday for the 6th treatment. The Dr. Said skipping a week won't hurt the treatment at all. Although it was a stressful day yesterday I'm glad that the Dr. Made the decision to be overly cautious and just make sure everything was okay before moving on. Even if it did send me into a day of constant worry why he was wanting all the tests:) so that's the latest for now.
